We have the best mother breeders of Carnica, from Austria and Slovenia.
We reproduce them mainly for the central and northern European market, although lately demand has increase, also in the rest of the continent, especially among beekeeper hobbyists.
We want to be clear that Carnica queens we sell were crossed with our Buckfast drones. The characteristics of those queens typically belong to Carnica bees: dark and gray stripes, extremly gentle temperament , good overwintering also with little population, spring development when pollen and nectar flows start especially in cold places with shorter season than our.
F1 cross with Buckfast drones makes this generation even more stable and productivity all season long, also curbing the swarming tendency typical in Carnica pure line queens.
